01. Wordpress Installation

Before you start messing things up and making things harder for yourself, you really should take a deep breath and read some of these resources, honestly this will help you, we only care for your well being!

Here's a great video by WooThemes on how to install Wordpress

02. Theme installation

Installing directly with wordpress

  • Log into your WordPress backend
  • Navigate to Appearance > Themes
  • Click Install Themes
  • Click Upload
  • Now you just need to find the "Keilir.zip" in the Upload folder and hit Install now.
  •

You can also upload the file via FTP, the upload directory should be "ftp://yourwebsite.com/../wp-content/themes/". Upload the Keilir folder in that directory (not the .zip file) and then activate it in Wordpress in Appearances > Themes

If you are experiencing any issues during the installation we recommend to check out this Screencast by Envato

03. Plugins Installation

Now, we recommend you install the CF-Post-Formats plugin to make the theme work as it should, so there should be a yellow box on your Wordpress Backend telling you to do so, if it isn't there, you can go to Appearance > Install Plugins and install CF-Post-Formats and activate it.

This plugin is now included in the theme itself so you don't need to install anything

04. Theme Customization

You can change the following elements
