You can also filter each area by authors, you can also filter these by tags, categories and/or sort them by date, title or popularity.

The title for these will automatically link to the author in question, so users can see more posts by him/her by clicking on the title

The second area also has an option called Display Duplicates set to “Off”, so it never displays a post that has already been loaded on that page
